Thanksgiving Break

This Thanksgiving break was awesome. It started on Wednesday. I sleep in and when I woke up I made homemade noodles for Thanksgiving I made 5 batches and it still wasn't  enough but I had to go to physical therapy because of my knee. After physical therapy I went home and set up some Christmas decorations. Then I went to my aunts house to watch Charlie Brown the Thanksgiving special and to eat chicken Alfredo pizza. The next day was Thanksgiving and I ate a lot. We had my family over and then when they left we set our Christmas tree and watched Christmas Vacation. Every year at Christmas and Thanksgiving we watch that movie. i did some other tstuff but that is the main part. I had a good break.

ACL

During this summer I tore my ACL. That is a ligament in my knee. When it happened I was going for a ball that I had swiped away from the other team. I went to my left side and then I heard 3 pops from my knee. I started crying because it hurt so much. I couldn't walk on it so my dad and the ref carried me off. I sat on a chair and had a doctor come to look at my knee. I was at a camp at UCM so there was a doctor there. He told me that he thinks I tore my ACL but i would have to check to make sure. Then I got this brace thing and I went to the doctor. the results will be on another blog.

CLAA 2014 Conference Tournament

For this year's CLAA conference tournament this past week, Hale girls won 1st place. I was so excited! We played T-A for first. We also played Keystville and Hardin-Central. We still have some games left and the ones we have played, we have won all of them. We are undefeated so far and I think we will continue to be. I really hope.

JH Track

Our first track meet is April 11. I am doing the 800m and a relay. There are 4 people in the relay and they are me, Trinity, Jentry, and maybe a girl from Bosworth. I hope Hale does really good at the track meets. I am super excited to go to our first track met with some of my friends. We have been practicing for the past several weeks. It is really hard running so much like on our first day of practicing for track we ran a mile and it was super hard! I am glad I am in track though so it can help me stay in shape for basketball!!

5th and 6th grade basketball

My brother is in 4th grade and is playing 5th and 6th grade boys basketball because they only had 5 people and needed more. At the beginning of the week there was a tournament at Tina-Avalon and the boy won first place. Then on Thursday he played at Breckenridge and won. He had 8 points. I didn't get to see that game because I had practice but I know he did really good! I also have 2 cousins that play 5th and 6th grade girls basketball and they have done good too. They got 2nd place at the T-A tournament and won at Breckenridge!

Y-Ball

Part of my basketball team played y-ball. I had so much fun! We played for 7 weeks and had 7 or 8 games. We lost only once to Southwest but even then I had lots of fun. On the team is Hayes, Bailey, Jentry, Abbey, Jaylyn, Averi, and me.

While I was doing y-ball my brothers played y-ball too. Gage usually had a game at 8 in the morning and Drake usually had his at 10 or 11. Then I played at 6 or 7 at night so my family was up in Chillicothe all day.

KU Basketball!!

On Sat. January 11, the KU basketball team beat Kansas State. The score was 86-60. KU is now 11-4 and their next game is today. They play Iowa State. KU is a young team, they have 2 seniors but they don't start. They only have a couple juniors. For a young team I think they are doing really well. One of my favorite players is Joel Embiid. He is a freshmen. Another one of my favorites is Andrew Wiggins. He is also a freshmen and he is getting drafted so I don't know how much longer he is going to be a Jayhawk.
