Y-Ball

Part of my basketball team played y-ball. I had so much fun! We played for 7 weeks and had 7 or 8 games. We lost only once to Southwest but even then I had lots of fun. On the team is Hayes, Bailey, Jentry, Abbey, Jaylyn, Averi, and me.

While I was doing y-ball my brothers played y-ball too. Gage usually had a game at 8 in the morning and Drake usually had his at 10 or 11. Then I played at 6 or 7 at night so my family was up in Chillicothe all day.

KU Basketball!!

On Sat. January 11, the KU basketball team beat Kansas State. The score was 86-60. KU is now 11-4 and their next game is today. They play Iowa State. KU is a young team, they have 2 seniors but they don't start. They only have a couple juniors. For a young team I think they are doing really well. One of my favorite players is Joel Embiid. He is a freshmen. Another one of my favorites is Andrew Wiggins. He is also a freshmen and he is getting drafted so I don't know how much longer he is going to be a Jayhawk.

Football

On December 9, the Arizona Cardinals played the St.Louis Rams. The Cardinals won! The score was 30-10. They are now 8-5!! They are in the hunt in there division. The Arizona Cardinals is one of my favorite teams and my favorite player is Larry Fitzgerald. He is a wide-receiver. Another one of my favorite teams is the Kansas City Chiefs. They are 10-3 and are in the wildcard. I can't wait for the Superbowl!!!

 

Show Me Games

This summer at the state show me games I had so much fun. My team and I played either 6 or 7 games. The first game we played was not very good but after that we started playing better. We won like 4 games and we played without a team member. She played with another team and poor Caysie rolled her ankle during our 2nd to last game. We went to other basketball camps during the summer and had so much fun! I love my team and I hope we can do more. My team is Hayes, Bailey, Trinity, Abbey, Caysie, Jaylyn, Kortney, Averi, and me. I think the whole team really missed Jentry and if we play next summer maybe she will play with us then.

If we go to the show me games next year then I want all of the team to stay in the same hotel because then we can go swimming together and eat together! This summer only some people stayed in the same hotel but some people went over to other peoples hotel to go swimming. Either way I had so much fun! I would do it again any time!

Basketball

I only have 2 more games left for this season. I am super sad. I wish we had more games. We play Meadville on Tuesday and on Thursday we play Bishop Hogan. I think it will be a close game against Bishop Hogan. Meadville, on the other hand, says they are not very good so I think we should win but who knows. We have no more games at Hale so they both have home court advantage.

This year we were expected to win 3 games but we have won 7 and lost 3! I am so proud of our team!!
